Being a non-Pratt student, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect during Pratt in Venice. I knew that I’d be in a foreign and unfamiliar environment with students who I had never met, but aside from that the rest of the program was a bit of an enigma to me. The program turned out to be quite an experience. I learned a lot about Venetian art and culture, about Pratt and the students there as well as a lot about myself. I also had the chance to learn Italian, indulge in delicious Italian food and wine, and met some amazing people with whom I will be friends for life.
